Our embassy’s vice-consul, Mrs. Viannela Severino, informed our members in a press release about the visa procedure to visit the United Kingdom which is being done by the British Consulate in en New York. 

She informed that the complete application process takes around 15 to 20 days. Applications that do not require additional information will be processed within a 10 to 15 day period. 

She also informs us that given that the holiday season is fast approaching, the period where the largest numbers of people visit the United Kingdom and other European countries, the programming of dates to capture biometric data could take longer waiting periods, which must be taken into account when you program your application. 

The Vice-consul also reports that visa applications may also be presented up to three months before entering the United Kingdom.
