Ordinary Assembly 2008

The British Chamber of Commerce in the Dominican Republic has elected its new Board of Directors for the period 2008-2010 in their Annual General Ordinary Assembly which was celebrated at Conference Room of the Consejo Nacional de la Empresa Privada (CONEP).

Board of Directors for 2008-2010 will be presided, for a second period, by Lic. Roberto Herrera. Re-elected to accompany Mr. Roberto Herrera will be: Marcos Peña, Vice President; Miguel Santana, Treasurer; and Alex Báez, Secretary. As Members of the Board of Directors: Rafael Maradiaga, José Rodríguez, Guillermo Álvarez, Héctor Rizek, Charles Ureña, François Vitte, and León Rubio, Past-President.

At the Annual General Ordinary Assembly and present at the momento of their election was present our Honourable Ambassador, Mr. Ian A. Worthington, representative for the Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, who is also the Honorary President of our British Chamber of Commerce. Also present were British Consul, the Honourable Scott Richard Melling, the Commercial Attaché of the British Embassy, the Honourable Leonora Dipp, as the Past-Presidents and Members of the British Chamber of Commerce in the Dominican Republic.
