XI British Golf Cup / 7-3-09
Our XI British Golf Cup took place with a total of 100 players on the first Saturday of March at the Metro Country Club links. On this occasion, the cup was dedicated to the Honorable Ambassador of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland to the country, Ian A. Worthington, who has been working to promote better trading relations between the two countries for three years.
Prior to the start of the event, an inaugural ceremony took place where the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland’s ambassador, Ian A. Worthington was in charge of hitting the first ball.
The awards ceremony took place in the halls of the Hotel Embassy Suites, where Cecilia Rosado and Rafael Pérez Reynoso got the highest honors, receiving their respective trophies from Ambassador Ian Worthington, accompanied by Juan Cohen, as well as the ones received by the rest of the winners in the different categories.
