Keeping our commitment to manage the European Federation of Chambers for the 2008-2009 periods, we reached the end of such period having performed a wide agenda in which we focused our efforts in highlighting and strengthening the Federation’s image. 

We witnessed the new trading chapter started with the successful signing of the Agreement of Economic Association (EPA) signed with the European Union in the city of Bridgetown, where Dominican Republic was represented by our Foreign Minister, Engineer Carlos Morales Troncoso. With regards to this particular subject; our Federation played a significant role and it will continue to so through its commitment to ensure successful trading which should take place within the scope of this Agreement.  

We leave the commitment to watch over our interests and supervising the Federation’s operations in the hands of our excellent colleague, Mr. Gustavo de Hostos, Dominican-Belgian Chamber’s President.
