On Saturday, March 1, 2008 our X British Golf Cup was held; event which was celebrated at the facilities of Santo Domingo Country Club.

During the tournament commencement celebration, Mr. Roberto Herrera, President of the British Chamber of Commerce, pronounced a speech to officially open the tournament, and Eng. Carlos Morales Troncoso, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, was responsible for the honourable tee-off, as to officially inaugurate the annual golfing event.

The event was sponsored by The Shell Company and by Vinícola del Norte, organizations that have been sponsoring our British Golf Cup since our First Edition, back in 1998.
