The First English High Tea Afternoon

 

   
 

With the intention to promote the English culture in the Dominican Republic, we presented the First English High Tea Afternoon at the residence of Mrs. Jacqueline Herrera de Alvarez, where Mrs. Alvarez provided for the occasion the fine porcelain and silver pieces inherited in the family, which have an English past.

The assistants enjoyed a variety of Tea by Twinings. The Twinings Teas is elaborated in England since 1706 and counts with more than 200 varieties of tea and infusions distributed in more than 100 countries around the world, are commercialized in the country by Álvarez y Sánchez C x A.
